FLORIDA REGION CLUB APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in starting or renewing a volleyball club with the Florida Region of USA Volleyball.

Starting a new club:

• Review the requirements for registering a new club.
• New club leadership (1 Club Director) will be required to attend the Indoor Club Academy Meeting
  • Sunday, August 27th, 2023, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM at the Florida Region office in Eustis, Florida. 

Renewing an existing club:

• Complete the club renewal process
• Complete the below membership requirements by August 21st to avoid the club being made inactive.

Club Leadership & Club Admin(s) requirements:

• Renew or purchase a personal USAV membership
• Available starting Wednesday, August 2nd for the upcoming season
• USAV membership purchase and submission of your USAV background screening must be completed by Monday, August 21st to give the background screen time to clear.  
• If your membership has not been purchased, your background screen has not cleared, and your SafeSport training has not been completed by August 30th the club will become inactive on August 31st and you will be unable to send club assignment invitations to your junior athletes on September 1st. 

Note: A USAV Background Screen must be completed every membership season. There is an additional fee of $14.00 that must be paid to process your background screen. This fee is paid during the submission of your background screening and is separate from your USAV membership fees. 

All adults in the club must complete the required SafeSport training. This includes coaches, chaperones, team reps, volunteers, etc. The Club Leadership is responsible for verifying that all adults have met the SafeSport requirement before participating in a sanctioned event.  Note: This is an annual requirement.

Following the completion of this registration and Region approval, Administrators for new clubs will be emailed a link to claim their new SportsEngine club HQ. Once a club HQ is claimed, they will have permissions to that club and the ability to add other administrators to the HQ.​​​​​​​
